The park in Palo Pinto County west of Mineral Wells is adjacent to Possum Kingdom Lake. Some of the rock facilities at the park were constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the early 1940's.
Activities at the park include camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, nature study, boating, and waterskiing. There are six cabins that accommodate four people in each and one that accomodates eight. These are in addition to campsites ranging from primitive to full service.
Take US Highway 180 to Caddo, then go 17 miles north on Park Road 33.
