The campus is bounded by West 19th Guadalupe and Red River sts. Chartered in 1883, the University of Texas-Austin is the keystone campus of the statewide University of Texas System. It boasts one of the largest endowments of any public university and is a noted national research center with several Nobel laureates on its faculty. More than 90% of undergraduate students are from Texas. Full-time enrollment exceeds 32,000 undergraduates with about 12,000 graduate students. The university competes in many intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division I level.
