The Prude Guest Ranch is located in the cool Davis Mountains of west Texas. It was established over 100 years ago as a cattle ranch. The Ranch offers many activities year-round such as hosting the Texas Star Party each year, providing organized horseback riding sessions for vacationers in the area, hosting many fellowship groups, public and private schools, summer camp, birding tours, excursions, corporate retreats, sports fitness and medicine camps, square dancers, cycle fests, RV rallies, and AA conferences. The guest lodges, located near the Prudes' ranch house and on the mountainside can accommodate up to four persons. Ranch bunkhouses can house from eight to 20 persons per room.
