Bryce Canyon Rim Trail

Search Bryce Canyon Utah

The rim trail skirts Bryce Canyon for five-and-one-half miles, and is probably the most complete way for visitors to experience this area. The path is fairly level and is rated as an easy to moderate trail, but hikers should arrange to be met by shuttle or car at the trail's end. Trail amenities include benches along the way for resting and enjoying the spectacular views. A half-mile portion of the trail between Sunrise and Sunset points is paved and level, and particularly adapted for walking with strollers or travel by wheelchair. These are also two of the park's most impressive viewpoints, offering sweeping panoramas of the Canyon's mysterious landscape; colors are most brilliant during the hours of sunrise and sunset.
