Located in Southeastern Utah, this route along Hwy 143 from Parowan to Panguitch climbs through the forested Parowan Canyon to elevations of 10,000 feet. The 55-mile drive takes visitors past colorful cliffs to Brian Head Resort and Cedar Breaks National Monument, ending in the small city of Panguitch. A variety of aspen, that features red autumn foliage, grows along the route and makes the fall trip a feast for the senses. The resort town of Brian Head offers skiing in the winter, and mountain biking in the summer season, as well as a variety of other attractions.
