Jordanelle is one of Utah's newest state parks. The park includes the Jordanelle Reservoir, and the Hailstone and Rock Cliff areas. Hailstone, located on the west shore of the reservoir off Hwy 40, offers boating, water sports, fishing, hiking, biking, playground, and a camp service center. Three separate camping areas are offered; facilities include modern bathrooms and showers, utility hookups, fish cleaning stations, sewage disposal, day-use cabanas, marina, boat ramps, visitor center, laundry facilities, restaurant, and miles of non-motorized trails.
The Rock Cliff area is located on the Provo River, two miles west of Francis on Hwy 32. Visitors here will enjoy the interpretive trails, fishing, walk-in camping, and opportunities for nature study. Facilities include a nature center, boardwalks, group-use area, modern bathrooms and showers, and a boat access ramp.
