This 440-acre park offers recreation for everyone on the Jordan River. Park activities include canoe and float opportunities as well as many put-in and take-out points; a 1.25-mile jogging/exercise course; a walking/bicycle trail; a model airplane facility; a 9-hole, par three golf course; and an off-road vehicle riding area. Picnicking in the group-use pavilion and modern bathrooms are some of the park's amenities. The day use only park is open year-round; located between North Temple Street and 2200 North in Salt Lake City.

Malad Valley Welsh Festival Malad City ID June28-July1 Today, Malad Valley has the largest per capita concentration of people of Welsh ancestry outside the country of Wales itself. For that reason, many residents of the Valley wanted to reestablish their Welsh roots. In 2005, after a 90 year break, this annual cultural event, now called the Malad Valley Welsh Festival, once again became a reality.
