This is a 17 acre water park. Try the Wild Wave, body surfing on ocean-like waves in our refreshing half-million gallon water wave pool, or Balboa's River Expedition. Its a lazy float on a tube around our 1,000 foot river as you soak up the summer sun. It has heated pools, a roller coaster, and waterslides. Stop by the Surfside Cafe and enjoy a refreshing snack or soft drink at our beautiful restaurant before heading out for more fun and adventure.

Malad Valley Welsh Festival Malad City ID June28-July1 Today, Malad Valley has the largest per capita concentration of people of Welsh ancestry outside the country of Wales itself. For that reason, many residents of the Valley wanted to reestablish their Welsh roots. In 2005, after a 90 year break, this annual cultural event, now called the Malad Valley Welsh Festival, once again became a reality.
