Located in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area; Rainbow Bridge is the largest natural bridge in the world, at 275 feet wide; the bridge features an almost perfect shape.The span has undoubtedly inspired people throughout time--from the neighboring American Indian tribes who consider Rainbow Bridge sacred, to the 300,000 people from around the world who visit it each year. Please visit Rainbow Bridge in a spirit that honors and respects the cultures to whom it is sacred. The bridge can be accessed by a 14-mile hike or by boat and a shorter hike. Rainbow Bridge is listed as one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
Access to the bridge is also available by regularly scheduled boat tours on Lake Powell, departing from the Bullfrog Marina and Hall's Crossing in Utah. Camping and swimming are not permitted within the monument grounds.
