Located in the town of Helper and is housed in the Old Helper Hotel building. The museum depicts the history of area railroad and mining operations. Included are photographs, 19th century coal-mining tools, railroad equipment, a hand press used to print payrolls, and the wooden steps on which Butch Cassidy robbed the Pleasant Valley Coal Co. in 1897.

Tours are available upon request.
