Visitors to Yuba State Park will enjoy year-round fishing for walleye and yellow perch; the area is also open to hunting for waterfowl in season. Other recreation includes boating, swimming, water-skiing in the warm waters of the Yuba Reservoir. Park facilities include a campground, modern bathrooms and showers, waste disposal station, picnicking area with group-use pavilion, and boat ramp. An additional boat ramp and primitive campground, as well as a picnic area, are located on the east side of the reservoir at Painted Rocks. Located just off Hwy 28.
