This was the Williamsburg home of John D and Abby Aldrich Rockefeller. The 18th-century house, named for Martha Washington's nephew, Burwell Bassett, who owned it 1800-39, is furnished to reflect the Rockefellers' lifestyle during the 1930s, when they were instrumental in restoring Colonial Williamsburg. A videotape precedes the audio-taped tour of the house and grounds. Reservations are required.
