Artist Kim Stout specializes in creating earthen and stoneware dolls, quilts, sculptures, and lampshades. Each piece is handcrafted and no molds are used. Lampshades are handmade out of art paper, ribbons, and buttons. Kim collects antique and unique buttons, fabrics, shells, and ethnic treasures to beautify and personalize her work. She is a recipient of several awards such as Juror's Award, 1998 Helen Bullard Award, and Judges' Choice Award.
