Westhampton Day School is an important facet of the Westhampton United Methodist Church and the community in which it is located. It is a non-profit school and is licensed by the State of Virginia. The Preschool and Kindergarten classes were established in 1953. The extended day program began in 1977. The school is operated to provide an environment in which the education of children in terms of intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth is paramount.
