Search Christiansted

One of the town's most elegant buidings, it was built as a home

for a Danish merchant in 1747. The building today houses U.S.V.I.

government houses. Slip into the peaceful inner courtyard

to admire the still pools and gardens. A sweeping staircase leads

visitors to a second-story balroom, still the site of official

government functions.
