The Catamount Brewing Company in Windsor is a microbrewery started in 1987 -- one of the first in the U.S. Producer of many brews, the brewery offers an entertaining and educational tour that offers the visitor a view of the New England craft brewing process, alongside other New England craft history. They produce Oatmeal Stout, Porter, Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Bock Beer and Octoberfest. Catamount also brews European-style ales and lagers are available for sampling after the tour.
