Enosburg Falls (pop. 1,448), one of several small communities named Enosburg, is located in Franklin County at the junction of Routes 105 and 108. The Missisquoi River flows just south and the community is on the Missisquoi Valley Trail. Enosburg Falls was one of six towns granted in 1780 as a means of raising money for Vermont's participation in the Revolution. The Enosburg Historical Society is located in Enosberg Falls. Much of their collection refers to the Dr. B. J. Kendall Company and other medicine-producing companies that operated in Enosburg in the late 1800s. The community also is the home of the County Courier weekly newspaper and the Opera House at Enosburg Falls.
