Mary L. Blood Memorial Library, serving an area of 1,050 residents, has a collection of 5,400 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 36 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 19 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $270. Patrons make 520 visits annually, and check out materials 660 times. Forty-eight percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
