The Morgan horse, Vermont's state animal, is America's first horse breed. A guided tour acquaints the visitor with the history and lineage of the Morgan horse. A small admission fee is charged to visit the grounds, with special rates for school groups and others by advance arrangement. The farm's gift shop offers hundreds of horse-related gift items. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Picnicking on the premises is encouraged.
