This 123-acre park borders an air field, and is located eight miles from a public fossil dig. There appears to have been an early Indian settlement at the park site many years ago as some Indian relics have been found within the park.
The park features camping, picnicking, fishing (large-mouth bass and trout), boating, water skiing and swimming.
Camping facilities include standard campsites and RV sites with hookups.
The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and includes about a quarter million acres.
