Fort Spokane is located at the confluence of the Spokane and Columbia rivers. The rivers have been flooded by Franklin D Roosevelt Lake.

The museum is open Memorial Day through mid-October. Special programs offered in the summer such as living history and blackpowder weapons demonstrations.
