Lake Woods lies next to the Columbia River in Bridgeport State Park. Maples and evergreens line most of the fairway, and deer, doves, Chinese pheasants, and quails frequent the course.

The 50-acre, 9-hole course was member-designed, and built in 1962 with all volunteer labor.
