Tacoma City Light built the Mayfield dam at the point where the Tilton River joins the Cowlitz. Mayfield Lake, the reservoir created behind the dam, is 14 miles long and over 2000 acres in size. Ike Kinswa State Park is located on the northern shores of the lake.
