For scenery and whitewater, come to the Sauk River, a federally protected Wild & Scenic River. The river charges down through the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The water is a beautiful green color due to the snowpack and glacial melt that makes up the river. Great rapids and beautful scenery abound.
