Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum is conveniently located only 40 miles east of Portland, right across the street from Stevenson's Dolce Skamania Lodge in the center of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. It is the nonprofit museum of the Skamania County Historical Society, dedicated to preserving, exhibiting and interpreting the cultural and natural history of the Columbia River Gorge.
