Spring Green is located in Sauk County between Madison and Prairie Du Chien along US Highway 14 near Lone Rock, Mazomanie, Dodgeville, and the Wisconsin River. Spring Green is where Frank Lloyd Wright built his estate, Taliesin. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,467, an increase of 184 since 1990.
