The City has much to offer in its outdoors at the Chief Logan State Park and the Big Ugle WMA. These outdoor recreation areas offer many hiking paths, walking paths and picnic areas. There is a magnificent amount of forest and natural beauty in the area.
The Guyandotte River is a beautiful place to spend time fishing or boating. There are numerous local shops for all of your water recreation needs.
