Located in Platte County. The Diamond Ranch, 75,000 acres, was founded by thoroughbred breeder and polo enthusiast, George R. Rainsford in 1880. Today, four generations later it is an authentic working ranch where many of the original buildings are still in use, and where real-life cowboys still ride the range.
Trail rides, hayrides, swimming and mountain biking are some of the activities enjoyed here. A restaurant, bar-lounge and snack bar are on site. A game room with pool and Ping-Pong are also available.
There are dining facilities for large groups and conference rooms available.
There are 106 campsites, 27 sites with full hook-up and 79 sites with water & electric connections. All rooms are comfortably appointed with the latest modern conveniences.
