This park contains mineral baths, hot mineral springs, pools, terraces and hot waterfalls. It is also the home of the state's official bison herd. An interesting feature of the park is Bighorn Hot Spring, which emits about 2.8 million gallons each day, making it one of the largest hot mineral springs in the world. Other springs within the park include White Sulphur Springs, Black Sulphur Springs, and the Ponce de Leon Spring. The park is open year-round.
