Mission Statement- The Medicine Bow Nordic Association's goal is to provide high quality groomed cross-country ski trails from the Tie City trail head at Happy Jack and provide events and activities that promote cross-country skiing in the area. A non-profit corporation founded in 1992. Donations, membership fees, and fundraising help offset the cost of purchasing and maintaining grooming equipment. MBNA volunteers contribute many hours grooming and maintaining trails throughout the year. The results are high quality skiing conditions. Happy Jack is located just north of the I-80 Lincoln Monument/Summit Exit, between Laramie and Cheyenne.
