Ocean Lake covers approximately 6,000 surface acres. The known fish in Ocean Lake include trout, walleye, perch, bluegill, green sunfish and crappie. Fishing is allowed all year round as long as you have a Wyoming State fishing license. There are several different boat ramps located at different locations around the lake. Primitive camping is acceptable and the area includes picnic tables, windscreens and shelters, accessible restrooms, etc. Ocean Lake is located off U.S. 26, 20 miles west of Riverton in Central Wyoming.
