Star Valley Trout Ranch Resort is a premier fly fishing destination, in western Wyoming between the Bridger-Teton and Caribou National Forests. Six cabins are available, each furnished with delightful artifacts and accessories. Cabins are equipped with a mini kitchen, a sitting area, a rustic front porch, and a private bathroom. Hearty meals are served in a family atmosphere. Shuttle pick-up is available from Idaho Falls, Idaho or Jackson Hole, Wyoming airports. For that reason, many residents of the Valley wanted to reestablish their Welsh roots. In 2005, after a 90 year break, this annual cultural event, now called the Malad Valley Welsh Festival, once again became a reality.

We also have craft booths, commercial booths and lots of great food. There will be a horseshoe tournament as well as our famous raffle. In previous years we have given away camp trailers, boats and cars.
