This section of the Yellowstone National Park between Canyon and Tower-Roosevelt is noted for its creative coloring. The most spectacular views are on Vista points, and particularly the Inspiration Point on the north rim and Artist's Point on the south rim. The best view of the Lower Falls is from Lookout Point. Uncle Tom's Trail descends the canyon about halfway and ends at the base of the Lower Falls' south side. The Upper Falls can be viewed from several lookout points and trails.
